The very best pub in town. Friendly staff who always greet you with a warm welcome and a fab pint. Loads of great beers, my partner loves ale and really appreciates the selection and the care with which the beer is looked after. There are delicious food options all week and the Sunday roast is legendary. Live bands and a friendly crowd make this the music venue the place to go for your nights out in Norwich. The management of this gem of a pub is first class.
After a disastrous visit to another venue for a roast dinner we popped in here, and my god what a rescue of a roast we got, from staff to food and atmosphere cabt fault out afternoon. Delicious dinner definitely be regulars from now on
Delicious Sunday roast with very tender chicken and lots of fresh veg. Really friendly staff and a lovely fun vibe amongst the mixed-age crowd who came to see the rockabilly band. I haven’t had a better time in a pub for years!
Nicely kept garden and helpful staff. Would prefer the real ale selection to be written down either on paper or on a board, I think something was lost when staff tried to remember it. Ales were well kept though and the pub environment was clean. Didn't try food on this occasion, but the food menu looks good.
Went to celebrate my husbands birthday, it was an open mic night....interesting....some good some politely not so good. It was also pie n mash night, I didn't have any but people we were with did and they said it was excellent, it looked very good £10 for Pie n Mash and a drink, really good value for money will definitely go again
Very very impressed with the roast today at the reindeer. The quality of the food, presentation and ingredients were exceptional. Staff were well organized, very attentive and keen to assist in any way they could.
Roast dinner was amazing and so much bigger than we expected!
Busy pub. Good food. Good live music. Nice courtyard area at the back. Friendly staff. Walk, bus or taxi as parking is very limited.
Great service, wide selection of beer and sprits as well as a sizeable stage for live music. Get down there when you can!
If you like real ale stay well clear of this pub. This used to be a great pub until the dreaded lou got her hands on it. The quality and choice of ales is awful. The bar staff are rude and the land lady has a real attitude problem and would not know a decent pint of real ale if you tipped it over her head. l would not drink in this pub if the drinks were free and you paid me to drink them. Well done Lou wilding you have managed to destroy yet another pub.
