I would highly recommend this place. I’ve been ‘privately’ detoxed over 20 times and spent 3 occasions in other rehabs over an 8 year period, with all attempts to keep me off alcohol failing at some point. I’m now nearly 10 months clean and sober. I base this on being absolutely sick to the back teeth of ending up being dependent on drink and ruining everything around me. Cassiobury gave me a good and safe medical detox.They brought me back to health with great nourishment and care in very relaxed environment. They then moved onto helping me to understand that I am addicted to alcohol and no matter how much I try to control it, it will always end up controlling me! Making me become selfish, argumentative, deceitful, unloving, isolating and doing crazy stupid things. I have personally suffered a lot of consequences as a direct result of alcohol. Luckily I saved my marriage and relationship with my children only by willingly getting involved with all the sessions at Cassiobury and attending every AA and CA meeting whilst there. I am personally (and I am sure my wife and two young boys are too) extremely grateful to the staff at Cassionbury for helping onto the road of recovery. This where I am today, in recovery and my family and I are happy. I have a program that I follow now and I’m totally supported by my loved ones. Yes I miss being able to have a drink but I don’t miss the chaos it causes. Cassiobury is not cheap, but neither was drinking or the other stuff I got up to! However, can you put a price on your husband or wife if they are threatening to walk? I attend aftercare nearly every Saturday which is great and run by Amanda. If in doubt, call and talk to them and go for a visit. It’s been the best thing I’ve done for sure and my sobriety is great. I’m not miserable or a dry drunk and have learnt you can have fun and be happy without a drink!! Thanks Cassiobury for your help and I hope this review will help someone. Garet.

An average experience soured by being overcharged and then refusing to refund. It also took a ridiculous amount of time and various people passing the buck to get a response. Overall a very unprofessional company that I would steer clear of.
