My daughter and I had our first ever camping trip together here, we met up with friends who also stayed. There is loads to do and plenty of room for the kids to run around safely as no cars can get where the kids play. I didn't hear once the dreaded words "I am bored"!! We did the half day package of wall climbing, zip line and archery which we all enjoyed. All the staff are very welcoming and go above and beyond, they couldn't have done more for us, so much so we came home and started planning our next stay there!
Had a brilliant trip to Carrowmena over the Easter break! Despite the weather we had a great time, site was clean and tidy, pedestrian only around the tents was a real bonus, allowing for kids running about. Sheltered from the weather in the Coffee Pod, great place to chill and enjoy a coffee or 2! The kids can’t wait to come back!Rooms: 5/5
Great family friendly spot. Kids loved the glamping pod experience, especially sleeping on the top bunk! Accommodation and amenities spotless. Kids able to enjoy the play park and the outdoor space and great set up for adults to have their coffees while they’re at it! Activities well organised, great fun and staff all very encouraging and friendly. We loved it!
This was our first time Canoeing & 100% will not be our last. We wanted a family activity for everyone with the youngest only just turned 4 & when I say she enjoyed it I mean she loved every minute of it & was in the water at every opportunity! Definitely an experience we won't forget & can't wait to do again!Rooms: 5/5
We had a lovely stay on May Bank Holiday, very relaxed, but still plenty for kids to do . Looking forward to our next stay.Rooms: 5/5
Absolutely loved here. Just had our tent with us as all other forms of staying had been booked but we had fun. The whole site is clean, loads of amenities. Toilets, shower and changing rooms, sheltered area to sit and eat. Games tables, park, on site shop... They had orienteering that was on site and for £1 it turned out to be loads of fun with the children.. Then off course you can book to take park on their climbing wall, zip line, archery etc. Each day has different activities to choose from. This time of year offered the maize maze which was loads of fun but with our weather it was very muddy lol.. Still made for great memories.. Views are outstanding. I'd definitely return and book a pod or bell tent and stay longer to take part in more. They fact that it's a families only place makes you feel more comfortable and safe
We spent a night at carrowmena in a bell tent it was so beautiful and different experience. We had a lovely clean set up, lots of activities to keep the kids happy with very friendly and approachable staff. We had the best time and will definitely be backRooms: 5/5
Stayed here for 3 nights in one of their bell tents. Tent was comfy & cosy. Camp kitchen was clean & well stocked. Great campsite. Booked some of the activities at the site too: climbing wall, zipline, archery, high ropes. Absolutely loved it - amazing staff. Shout out to James who was brill with the kids. Brilliant time here. Highly recommend.
Beautiful place and looked forward to peaceful nights as its supposed to be family friendly. Yes I know kids are excited to be on holiday and I understand that..but the god almighty shouting screaming and running around was totally unacceptable after midnight. I think we should have stayed at home in the city..because of this I most certainly wont be paying to come here again. So disappointed.
Would be great for dry weather. Park was soaking wet because its been raining i do understand slides big puddles at the end also the swings would be better if soft play mats or something to catch water... Nothing to do when raining maybe if there was indoor activities for the wet weather.. Would not at this time recommend.Rooms: 2/5
