I don't know why some people have posted negative comments on the volunteer staff. Bought a scarf from them the other day and returned a day later with a question and they were helpful, chatty and one lass had a beautiful smile. They're volunteers in a charity shop so take your custom elsewhere if you expect 100% perfect customer service satisfaction. It doesn't exist anywhere anyway!

This pleasant and well stocked shop was ruined for me today as I was treated so rudely by the server, Maureen Dyer. She had a very miserable facial expression, didn’t say hello, thanks, goodbye, nor even looked at me. The till is sideways on to the counter and she didn’t even turn in my direction, but just said, “£4” She hadn’t even noticed my additional two items and when her much nicer colleague told her, she just barked, “£5.” I appreciate the staff are mostly volunteers but there’s really no excuse for such awful manners. Even my husband commented on how awful she was.

Some real bargains, love grateful staff/volunteers. Yesterday I bought a beautiful Next top and M and S trousers - great classy outfit, all for SIX POUNDS! definitely worth a visit

Needs younger more attentive volunteers. Feels more like... Help The Aged when you pop in to try to give some charity.
