Having seen all these good reviews, I came along to experience the opposite. I felt like Carmelo didn’t want to be there from when I arrived, and because he went on about the ends of my hair, it made me feel like I needed to have a huge chunk cut off. He didn’t understand how to work with my fine hair, and I have come away with hair which is too short, and shapeless- he literally spent 2 minutes to cut it all at one length. Everyone who has seen me is upset that I had it all chopped off, as I had long hair- and it barely touches my shoulder now and is just poker straight with no shape anywhere- and I feel like it’s too short to mess with it. Carmelo also used far too moisturising products in my fine hair, and so when I got home, my hair felt half as thick as usual, so thin. I had been hoping he would have the experience to know how to work with my hair, but it’s the worst cut I have ever had. And I felt unwelcome the whole time I was there. Horrible experience, and it will take more than a year to grow it out 😔

My mum is a hair dresser and has done my hair since I was a little girl, however as styles have changed my mum was more than happy for me to go to Carmello (she did always say Italians were the best in the business....mums are always right). I've had my hair done by both Carmello and Lizzie, and what a lovely job they did. I was so nervous as for the first time i had my hair coloured and not by mum.... i shouldn't have been. The atmosphere is brilliant. A truly fantastic salon with lovely staff. They Made me feel completely relaxed and most of all, I walked out having confidence in myself and in the salon. I would recommend to anyone.

Very friendly team in cosy premises. Worth the prices for a good pampering in a welcoming environment
