I used to like this place but their standards have slipped. I went for a meal and was surrounded but dirty tables for the entire meal. The portions have reduced but prices have gone up. Take the arancini starter Vs a couple of years ago. The prices are compatible to London restaurants but the environment and food can't justify the prices. Clearly profits come first and they've forgotten they're a high street chain.

Came in alone after being stood up. Staff couldn't have been more accommodating. Food was amazing. Wine excellent. She missed out!

My 2 year old daughter spilt apple juice all over herself. She had been given an open glass. I asked a waitress to get me a napkin to clean her up. The waitress said ok but then went to serve another customer. Our food had already arrived. I went to get a dry napkin from the kitchen. Although the young man who was also the manager was helpful I didn't like being referred to as 'mate'. We hadn't touched the food except my daughter had taken a bite of toast. My daughter started crying so I got fed up with the rude staff and left. The manager accosted me outside demanding that I pay for the food. I was obviously furious and it showed. Immediately the manager accused me of being aggressive. I hadn't said a word yet to him. To my mind, this rudeness was so shocking it could only have been down to racism. If you are black and you want to be treated with respect this is not the place to go.

Slightly pricey but good food. Good place for brunch and dinner
