Bought something for a friend for Christmas in store and got told at point of purchase "we don't do refunds only in store credit/ exchanges". I was given a pair of joggers as a gift for Christmas which are the wrong size so needed to swap them but got told "we don't do exchanges only refunds" and that I would need the card it was bought with (the person who got them for me lives in a different part of the country so not possible). Everything I've been told is so conflicting and very unhelpful.
