Honestly I like Cardiff central a lot but I think the station looks very old and outdated. The station itself is good but it won’t wow you it does everything and has everything a main station should have but the station can be very loud from trains. I believe they are improving the station but for now it’s outdated, loud, crowded and dirty in some areas.
Easily accesible and straight up to the platfor. My train was on time and actually got a good price to travel to Carmarthen. £8.50 for a single.
This area has developed a lot in the last 5 years. Great place to sit, have coffee, watch the crowd coming in and out of the railway station. In the heart of the city.
Cardiff Central Station is located in Cardiff City Centre. To get to the station, we took a short walk from the Capitol Shopping Centre area. Inside the station, we encountered helpful and knowledgeable staff. There are ticket machines available, but we opted to purchase our tickets at the counter office. There is seats and toilet facilities on the platform where we are waiting for our train.nnAdditionally, there are several interesting places in the vicinity of the station, including Principality Stadium, Cardiff Market, St. David's Hall, Cardiff City Hall, and more.
I must have used Cardiff Central hundreds of times by now. The station is an effective and simple station to navigate that hosts a lot of services like toilets, shops, and plenty of ticket kiosks.nnThe station is effectively managed when big events are on in the nearby Principality Stadium.
