The staff at highfield grange are so lovely. They cant help you enough. From the receptionist to the bar staff and cleaners. They will go out of their way to help you. Caravans are nice and entertainment is great for small kids. My girls loved it. Can even get a bus from outside straight in to town and local shops. Swimming pool is small but very clean. As a family we go back every year for the past 5 years. We even got engaged there as its so special to us.
Stayed in a rental static home. Was very pleasant and easy to find. Short walk from the seafront. Didn't use to many of the facilities but there was always a staff presence and everyone was respectable quiet at night, respectful. The rental was clean, tidy and well kept. I would reccomend this place.
BELIEVE THE BAD REVIEWS IT UNFORTUNATELY IS TRUE. Holiday happiness awaits, lol what a joke!!! as it stands atm, we arrived Monday, we had to change caravan 3 times due to the caravans they issued being dirty and not clean despite the late arrival time of 4pm!!! We arrived even layer than that so there are NO excuses. The park is poorly lit so you cannot see the caravan numbers in the dark. Arrive in day light and not on foot like us!! Slightly easier if you have a car I guess. The staff are up against it, they are super helpful, the security are left at night to manage 400 people on their own!! During march, imagine summer!!!! Since being in our new caravan the kitchen sink has been blocked, the TV aerial was broken by previous holiday makers. We have been asking for over 2 days for them to fix our problems. It's March it's not that warm yet, this is a honeymoon for us and we are so disappointed. We cannot wash up our plates etc after eating. It's not pleasant and definitely doesn't feel like a great holiday experience. Also the phone numbers they give you when on site if you have any problems do not work. What's going on guys? Can someone please come and fix our problems from maintenance and management??? Thank you
The caravans were very nice some bits were broken the entertainment was very good the staff at the entertainment was really kind. The service in the arcade wasn't the best some of them were swearing and the service in there wasn't that good. The swimming pool wasn't very clean it was incredible cloudy but again the staff there was really helpful. Apart from the couple of problems everything else was good Rooms: Extremely small Not really much space to put clothes Nearby activities: The activities were really good the staff for them were really useful
The caravan was basic and initially lacked some cutlery, glasses and hot water. Staff were helpful and problems sorted. Beds could do with better quality mattresses. Entertainment, pool, fish and chips as expected, basic, smallish pool and fish and chips, but acceptable. Ice cream from the van was excellent. Will return.
Fantastic had a great week all clean. And staff Fantastic . Entertainment brilliant. Especially milkshake mornings for the younger kids Need better prizes for tickets in arcade I get the cheep ones but nothing for over 10k
Hello, I am due to come stay at Highfield grange this coming April. I am travelling with my 3 month old and have some concerns with reading comments regarding noise. I have been told via online chat that a caravan will only be allocated on arrival. I wanted to see if there is any chance of requesting a quiter location on site? Sophie
The caravan was past its best...terrible smell when entering...had to open all windows....staines on the sheets in one bedroom...half a curtain in another bedroom..no plug for the dink.....only two out of 4 main lights working....door kept opening had to keep it locked...the caravan was not very clean smears on the windows and fingerprints on the mirror.. reported these problems to reception two days ago...we received a plug for the sink...but no lights fixed...very gloomy here at night....very disappointed with Parkdean..been to many other Parkdean sites....this is the worst ebxperience ever. Regarding your response...we did report it to reception and other than receiving a plug for the sink...nothing else was rectified...Weare in the caravan now two days after notifying reception...why no lights fixed....not acceptable im afraid....
Josh from the entertainment team was fab, always saying hi to everyone and making sure all the kids were included...our daughter loved him and the fact all the starland krew came out to see us on our short weekend in march Will definitely drive the extra distance for this park...thanks so much Josh and team
Wouldn’t recommend at all on website says pet friendly however was not allowed to take our dogs anywhere apart from walking around the site. Caravans were nothing like the pictures they were seen as on the website and was dirty and unkept. The staff was also very rude and abrupt. The whole overall experience was not great as the whole resort and facilities was badly unkept. 100% would not come here again.
