I ‘ve Been using this company for almost 3 years now. Their product are great as well as the quality, Their salmon and Cod are the best as you can see it on some of the dishes I created. There customers service is professional Stephane is a great guy. They are ready to help you in anyways or form. No hesitant of recommending this company. ‍
I called at opening to ask if they had a certain product on their website in stock. I don't speak French but the person on the line spoke English and was very patient and helpful. The website doesn't have an English translation so I read the French name out loud, and they confirmed they had it in stock and gave me the English translation, which sounded exactly like what I wanted. They confirmed it was in stock. I then drove from the Ottawa only to find out that they did not have that product in stock. The store clerk different to the person on the phone impatiently explained that it was out of season and they had no more, and that I should have confirmed the specific product. It's one thing to have sold out, but the disconnect between the person on the phone and in-store is so upsetting. I had indeed confirmed it was in stock before coming in. When I tried to explain what I heard on the phone, the clerk interrupted me and said that regardless of what happened, they had no more. I don't know anything about fish, only that I want that specific product from their website. Overall a really disappointing experience.
I have discovered this place for the last 9 months. Fantastic place to buy your seafood. High quality seafood, great service, what more can you ask for. Stephane and Josée are always helpful and knowledgeable. I live one block away from another known seafood store in the Byward market, yet I buy all my fish and seafood here.
Love their inventory whether its fresh in season or frozen year round the quality, quantity and prices are awesome as well as the staff's friendly service and knowledge!
Good variety with fish always being rotated. We get to try new varities we dont get in other stores. Lots of frozen stuff too.
