Been there first time but for short time. Nice morden station. Everything looks good with big space car park. But still missing few things like no escalators or more lifts. One lift never cover all the station. There’s no any shop or store around. It’s mean if u need anything, U’ll have to walk a lot to get something. Any how this station still need a lot of things to b good station.
Staff were very helpful.nnThe idea of the book exchange is fantastic! That in itself deserves 5 stars. Railways in the past had a massive impact on reading habits. The little book exchange is Cambridge North's contribution to that history!
It’s still not operating at its full potential in the sense that once all the building going on around the station is completed we will see a lot more folk using the facilities.nnIt’s modern, clean & efficient & staff are generally really friendly. There is a coffee shop to help you fuel up for the journey just before you go through the barriers.nnNo station is perfect & what really grates me about this one is the lack of a wait zone. Not everyone is being dropped off & for those who arrive a few minutes early to collect someone there is plenty area for taxis & for the disabled which is always empty and very little space for those waiting for a passenger.nnThis deficiency needs some clever thought & I hope to see it addressed soon.nnOne of the big positives is the bicycle storage facility. Well done.
Drop off here at your own risk of being double dipped. The ANPR cameras here clearly don’t work as they should and they won’t pick up you exit from the car park. They will happily send you a PCN wrongfully even if you left.
Cambridge North station , is so convenient its less than 3 mins from the A14 giving anyone from surrounding areas a great place to park and travel from , has excellent levels of services to and from London Liverpool Street , and London Kings Cross , also frequent services to NorwichnnStation has fantastic facilities all fully accessible , you have the option to travel paperless from this station too by purchasing your tickets in advance from mobile application from the train operator , and you can pay for your car parking via a mobile parking application too ,nnPricing of train journeys to London are amazing value too ,nnA great train station to travel from as it is also quite new you really feel safe travelling from here its all very well lit and very secure
