Cambridge Museum of Technology holds an extensive collection of steam, gas and electric pumps. Formerly the local sewage works, the Museum tells the Industrial history of the city. Plus a very interesting exhibition of the high technology company Pye. TV, radar and mobile phones from the 1940s. Great.

Interesting place for adults and for children also. Some fun activities for kids to do as well.

Quite a few buildings to visit with interactive things for kids. All well explained and very interesting, especially the Pye building. Worth an hour or 1/1/2 hours' visit

This place is a wonderful gem and an excellent museum! If you like history or mechanical things or just like fun gizmos you will really enjoy visiting the museum of technology. The museum is very well done with helpful placards explaining the history and how everything works.
