I used many time for various construction they are much cheaper than local. However service is not as it should be but that's alright You can get all type of material from here Don't listen negative reviews just go there and compare price and services yourself
Don’t listen to the bad reviews. Am based in Coventry and use them as there a lot cheaper than local .Ive had no issues but my last order was missing some 4-3timber when dropped off to job in Coleshil ,I went into the shop spoke the owner Sam and he was more than welcoming and sorted it out straight away . Maybe the bad reviews are off ppl wanting something for nothing . Would recommend anyone to use them
They have some of the cheapest prices but there are far more problems to bother with. They rarely answer their phones, have long lead times for delivery, cannot give you a ballpark and even when their guys screw up by picking up the wrong order you go back to back of the queue when getting a re-delivery. They prioritise the people coming into store and those preferred builders who keep coming back. Stick to smaller independent merchants where you get a good service. The staff aren't very helpful, you won't get any advice, stick to stores with proven customer service, good knowledge product information and a bit of patience for paying customers/traders. Edit: Was forced to return to pick up some extra materials from here as my builder originally ordered from here. Got sent to the yard which is now a mud pit with all the rain. Had to dodge a bunch of trucks/vans and potholes to get there. More practical if I drove an offroader but I don't. Got told the 'afghans' are on their break so no one around to help load materials so had to it myself as they didn't know what the note made by the guys on til were in reference to. Must have trouble with his colours as it said red and I was being pointed towards grey items. The staff driving forklifts were getting visibly annoyed after I was told to park their by another. No win situation. Thanks, my trainers were ruined, trousers muddied, and got a few angry shouts and on top of that cut my hands as I didn't have gloves on left in car but was being made to hurry to move. No apologies from the yard staff. Why are you there if it's an 'afghans' job to load and they are on a break with no idea when they come back? Very disappointing experience once again. So chaotic and hopefully never have to come back again. P.S: This is a genuine review and I don't think complaints really get heard, especially from domestic customers.
Good price for wood and the been very helpful. even the are very busy. I been few times the been very patient. One delivery driver very rude not helpful but second time i had really nice and friendly driver i think its your luck .
Avoid at all costs! Staff here are extremely rude and not helpful in the least, little to no English is spoken at this place, which makes things even more frustrating. My Customer had ordered and paid for the items prior to my arrival. When I finally got to speak to someone, I had to wait almost 30 mins to receive the items and the items looked like as if they had been picked out of a rubbish bin. Extremely poor experience and will never be coming here again
Pathetic service!!! Contacted them number of times to ask them about the delivery date and time but they have refused to give me the date and time which clearly shows poor mismanagement and bad customer services. I'll never use them again. It has delayed my project massively and resulted unnecessary stress. Avoid them at all cost!!!
Very rude staff, bad customer service. They are always rushing and don’t want to listen to you. When you ordering.Delivered wrong order. I wouldn’t give them a 1 star.
I had very bad experience. I have paid for 100 blue engineering bricks. Upon reaching the yard for collection, the staff was asking me to take the damaged and cracked bricks saying they are getting them on the pallet from supplier and cannot select only good ones. On a pallet different colour and damaged. The staff was treating me like a thief. Had a long arguments. I felt that that they are selling the second quality item for the price of good ones. Staff in the yard is horrible. This is a very big company for building material even though Your staff was not letting me to select the good one. Why should i pay for the damaged one when i am collecting from your yard. Disgusting response.
The only good thing about this company is its prices on somethings. Customer service is none existent Rude staff including management. Unable to plan work as they are never able to confirm delivery and if you call up to ask you get an arrogant response with no information on when the delivery will be made. For a company that makes £5m in profits you would think their systems amd customer service would be up there. Shame, unfortunately I won't be using them again the wait in delivery is impacting my business and customers I'd rather pay that little extra somewhere else.
I have read the bad reviews and cannot relate to them whatsoever with our dealings with this Company. We attended the yard in Birmingham and the help we received from Rupinder was second to none. We had miscalculated the amount we needed and a lovely older gentleman who worked there came to the rescue at the counter and his patience was brilliant to help us. We came away recalculated and returned a week later. He remembered us and again gave us brilliant help. We waited two days and all our materials delivered to our Worcester address and the driver was a smashing lad helpful professional. All materials were spot on. Credit given where credit due. We have told our friends about them . My partner's son has used them and is very pleased with quality and service. They are a busy firm with lots of customers on the day but we were served well and helped. Very satisfied.
