Shocking customer service from the lady at the checkout. Barely spoke to my mum when she was paying. Very rude and even made her feel uncomfortable to the point where she was rushing. She has bad eyesight so it takes her a while to put her pin in. Worst customer service I have experienced. It was around 3pm and only one checkout was open. So it should be easy to work out who the customer service assistant is! Appalled to be made to feel like this. Been put off visiting the store.
The lack of staff at the till is horrendous. When I went there it was 3pm on a weekday and there was a queue of 10 people with only one till open. The woman didn't look in any hurry either. Over forty- five minutes to get served is ridiculous.
I want to give a big shout out for a lady called Sharon who was working on the big checkout this afternoon, 10th November 2022. She was very helpful and also has a lovely friendly and bubbly personailty. What a breath of fresh air she was. Please pass on my comments to her. Thankyou
Thank you to Phil for his help in getting compost from shelving to the back of my car. Disappointed that I was left waiting by one of two women in garden centre for 15 minutes and had to ask another one to get someone to help me.
Every year my housemates and I aim to get the most wonderful huge Christmas tree. And we don’t let not having a car put us off. Today I saw this especially magnificent tree in Kings Heath Homebase, and had to have it. Dave and the team there went above and beyond to make sure I had the easiest homeward trip possible. I can’t commend them highly enough. Thank you!
Was lots to choose from in store only problem was I bought ladders and was told they don't deliver so I had a 3 mile walk home with them but that would not stop me going again
Very tidy store with large range of DIY and gardening products for sale. Mildly difficult to get to with local traffic and tucked away so you need to know it’s there or you’d miss it.
I am a disabled customer and struggle with any bending or lifting...I arrived asked 2 lovely ladies at the customer services and they got a gentleman called Zaheed to help me, he even helped with the till and put the items in the car This made me feel independent and I didn't feel pitied or that I was a pain in the bum Thank you so much to the staff it means more than you realise!
Hi A BIG shout out to the AMAZING, BRILLIANT Sonia!!!!! She is just Awesome, she helped me out on my visit today to Homebase, and offered such a lovely gesture to the NHS, we need more people like her
Reception staff was very unhelpful, uninformed. You just have to navigate your own way around the store and the check out.
