I needed to get back from the ED to a hotel a week ago and after calling several different taxi companies with no resolve, i thought i would give call a cab ago, well what can i say apart from wow! Awesome service, and a taxi was with me on a very busy weekend evening within less than 15 minutes. I had a friendly driver a clean and fresh smelling car. Very reasonable price. I highly recommend. Thank you
Great customer service over the phone, prebooked and prepaid and taxi turned up right on time.
Had previously called another taxi company, where I was spoken to in a really problematic manner for explaining my train was delayed less than five minutes. Called this company second and they were kind and polite. Taxi driver called when I was still on the train, told me what the car looked like and said he’d wait. Really lovely. On my way to the hospital so really appreciate the understanding from the whole team.
Horrible on timing . Horrible. I ordered the night before, called to confirm an hour before yet they were late. I gave them a fake time for my train yet I still missed it. Called and was told the cab was 30 seconds away. I called back after three minutes to hear the car is outside. Well, it came six minutes after there said 30 seconds away. Got no satisfaction as customer service is POOR. Management failed to manage my complaint. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY
Some of the drivers can be a bit rough, however the customer service when you call is much better and more polite and respectful than the other big taxi firms in Eastbourne. The taxis do occasionally turn up late by 15 minutes or more, however that seems the norm for all taxi companies in Eastbourne, much bigger incentive to get your own car and not have to rely on them.
Please don't use this company save your money and go to another taxi company I booked a taxi 8 Hours in advance via the app as it says you can track your cab However taxi never arrived and never tracked right up to a few minutes before it was meant to arrive leaving me stranded It seems that despite being charged at the point of booking taxi it was never allocated to a driver I've still not got money back 7 days later despite numerous emails Shockingly poor service and complete lack of care for their customers
Took us 30 seconds to get outside, when we got outside they left and then the lady on the phone started screaming at us and being rude pluss we are only 14 wanting to just get a taxi so I can go home from my friends I'm not ever calling them again specially as I was nervous to call I've just called 720 and they are much better and waited and spoke to us much better.
Superb service. On time, great drivers and well kept cars.
They turned up 35 minutes late and left my 85 year old friend sitting on some hallway stairs without telling us how late they'd be, so we weren't sure whether to call another cab company or not. Then when the cab finally turns up the driver couldn't even be bothered to open the door for a frail man with a walking stick who struggles to walk. Not good enough. Will never use them again.
Make sure you asked about their fixed rates as they’re extremely overpriced. As an example we took a different cab service from Royal Parade road to the 8 Bells pub in Jevington which cost approx £14.50 on the meter. For our return journey we booked with Call-A-Cab Eastbourne and we’re charged a fixed rate of £25. Also not the nicest of journeys with Call-A-Cab, our driver drove very fast with little regard for passenger comfort. Tl;dr - don’t book with them.
