Lovely little spot. Small fee is great and not expensive at all. Nice layout with amazing plants along paths between animals. Animal encounters are great. We are able to get close to tortoises and a snake that we love. Nice gift shop. Park itself is lovely to walk about and the play ground area is fantastic. Not used the rugby fields etc but they look well maintained.

Excellent day out was had .. used picnic area outside. Kids loved all the animals they saw & activities indoors ... sand in shaped glass bottles if I remember correctly. Lot to see .. Beautiful plants in like hot house .. all sweating profusely in there.

I would not recommend the cafe. I was in today, my friend and I had soup and an egg sandwich on brown bread. The bread was stale and had mould on it. The staff member only offered to replace which I took but could not bring myself to eat as I felt truly sick. I would not use again this just shows the food is not fresh!

I loved the zoo, kids fell in love with the meerkats and the rabbits. They also enjoyed the adventure playground but thought the 'massive' slide was too scary... We had a lovely walk as well although it was quite cold! For adults the zoo price was £1.40 and for children it was 50p. A little price to pay for a brilliant day.
