Ok 8 months after my first review this is the update, bit of a mixed bag to be honest. First the positives, The staff are all friendly and helpful, the cafe has lovely grub, the course is in smashing condition, the practice green while a little on the slow side is excellent overall a well maintained 9 hole set up.Now the not so positive, the driving range is almost like an afterthought.The lack of targets to aim for is extremely poor.This range could take a leaf out of somewhere like mearns castle or Strathclyde park which both have raised greens,targets and nets in abundance.The balls have been replaced since my last review which was long overdue! However although they have replaced the old bricks with srixon the balls still feel a lot harder than the other ranges in the area, can't help but think a slightly cheaper ball was selected? Price is good as.long as you are only hitting 50 balls before 11am which comes in at £2.70, however once you go past either 50 balls or 11am the range then becomes one of the most expensive ranges per ball in the area, which when you consider all the other minuses makes it a lot less attractive.Overall I feel the 3 stars from my last review remains a fair score.If the owners would only use a little more imagination and a bit more care an attention the range could be excellent and my 3 star review would become a 5

Picked the wrong time to play this course for the first time..wind really strong and bucketing down..The course itself was immaculate..fairways great and greens in tip top condition..Went for a snack when we finished..the food was good and reasonably priced..staff very pleasant..
