Fantastic campsite. Very modern and clean facilities, wet rooms and community showering, laundry room, washing up room, adult and family camping ares. All staff I encountered were very pleasant and helpful. I shall come back to this site when visiting the area again. Very pleased.

A large and attractive site with 5* toilet/shower facilities featuring your own private room. Superb Suffolk location, ideal for Aldeburgh, Snape, Southwold and Thorpeness. Friendly people and bar facility. Built on a historic WWII US fighter airbase with small museum and old hangers within walking distance. Super pitches include water and drainage, perfect!

This site is without fail for those seeking a quiet, chilled out holiday. It is not suitable for those who make a noise, like shouting, play loud music and insist on erecting tall poles with flapping flying birds etc on top. It is a very classy and sophisticated site, recommended to those who enjoy the nicer things in life. We have just returned from another stay here. We booked this last minute and Fergus went above and beyond the call of duty to ensure the pitch we had was well suited to our large tent and our two dogs. We were offered a pitch on the adults only site so we did not have to worry about children running around making a noise or riding their bikes dinging their bells which would have really upset our dogs. As I have written before this site is magnificent. Beautifully clean throughout, impeccable wash rooms and showers, marvellous facilities for washing up and fabulous pitches. It is a superbly maintained site in every way. Very friendly people both staff and clientele with a great field for dogs and children to run around in. The swifts love a game and torment the dogs by flying directly in front of them so they chase them. My very young miniature daschund loved this game and obliged, he was exhausted and slept soundly the whole time. He remembered the birds from last time so went straight onto the field looking for them. Everyone respects the restricted quiet times which makes the stay lovely and quiet, something which is essential for a comfortable stay. There are none of the silly poles with flapping things on top which lower the tone. There was a rather noisy couple who played loud music and kept shouting while playing monopoly in front of us but I think once they realised they were the only ones making a noise they turned it off before it became a nuisance. There is plenty to do in the area but once settled it is very hard to drag yourself away and leave the relaxing atmosphere. Even during the day you would barely know there was anyone else on site as it is so quiet. We are hoping to return again in a fortnights time and again at the end of September. This site will always be our first choice every time. Thank you for another great break.
