I was really disappointed here. They have rules on the board, which is totally fine if everyone follows them. We came in 30 minutes before they stopped serving food and were told the grill was off. The lady took our order anyway, but felt the need to let us know we were inconveniencing her with our business. A man came in at almost the same time and it was a different story. He did not get them same attitude. He sat at a table of 4 by himself, when the cafes rules state he should have sat at a smaller table. He then talked on the phone for some time, breaking another of the cafes rules. Nothing was said to this customer by the lady. I don't know whether my partner and I are too polite, but we didn't deserve the terrible service and will not set food in this place again. The food was not unpleasant but this ruined the experience as a whole.
Absolutely outstanding experience. Went here to celebrate my one year anniversary with my wonderful partner. Food was amazing. Staff were so polite and food was fantastic value for money. Very clean. Best hot chocolate in porty. “The jam was nice and in very cute little thing” - my girlfriend.
Omg went in today had a scone and pot of tea. Best scone I've had. A beautiful cosy welcoming place. Will definitely be going back.
I go with a resident, they move tables, chat to them, amazing people, fantastic food. Friendly atmosphere! Go amazing cakes!!

I walked in and I found the political noticeboards and the obnoxious rules board to be in your face. I had to walk out and go to a better cafe instead because it was horrendous.
Just had the most beautiful afternoon tea here June and Tony are always very welcoming
Great breakfasts in this cosy,wee cafe and you can buy home baking to take away.
