Lovely cafe. We had tasty breakfasts with good quality ingredients, coffee and tea. Nice vibe and customers were a good mix of families, couples and individuals.

Great food and great service. Just the kind of place you would love to visit with your family. The staff was very nice and the food very tasty, reasonable prices. And Pet Friendly!

This was a very cool breakfast place. As a tourist I came here for the pancakes. I was very pleased with the portion of my pancakes for the small price I paid. If you are from the US, you will love their portion size here. Do not miss the chance to come here for breakfast.

Popped in for a coffee to waste some time. Nice staff, was quiet. Menu looks great, should have bought the pancakes

Absolutely beautiful pancakes  I cannot express it enough. The waitress was on fire  she looked after our table and everyone else. We thought she was the owner the way she was running things but it seems it was just a normal day for her! Big her up Edinburgh. Next time I visit I'll be back!

Good for students, not so much for families. The owner is lovely, but other staff are quite rude. While we experienced what seemed to be the usual student clientele being treated warmly, the same wasn't extended to us and our kids. Pancakes were also just ok. Pancakes themselves were so so, but covered chocolate, syrup or other stuff, which I guess is why people rave about them - the indulgence factor.  Wouldn't return, which is a shame because the owner really was a nice lady.

Very upset with the service here. Came to study with a friend in the morning, ordered food and drinks and not even an hour in we were just given the bill implying that we should leave. The waitress didn’t ask us whether we wanted to order anything else and just handed us the bill. The staff here are not friendly in general and have been making it very uncomfortable for us to be here the whole time, asking us to move or leave throughout the whole time. Please have attitude check with your staff xx. Food and drinks are great though.

My favourite place ! I spent hours in this café it’s so nice ! The food is GREAT the pancakes and the bagel , the café is super cozy, music is great And above all the staff were adorable, so kind !! I would definitely recommend the treehouse and I can’t wait to go back to Edinburgh and go back to this lovely place :

Lovely café in Edi! This is the kind of place where you can have good coffee with an amazing piece of cake, chill with your friends or by yourself. Very good food and dog friendly! Best things in this café is the staff! Highly recomanded!

This is a review for takeaway coffee only, I do look forward to coming back and trying the food.  I had decaf coffee which was ok, I saw it comes from a packet and not freshly ground.  Cups were still single-use plastic so a -star for that :
