Food was good, staff was attentive but we had to wait an extremely long time to get our food part of which had to be sent back because it didn’t come out as requested. The issue you have is that you don’t have enough people in the kitchen if all your tables become full. One of the persons at the bar need to be able to shift to kitchen when the restaurant is at full capacity otherwise you get a mess at the kitchen with orders going to wrong tables etc. For anybody thinking of eating here - if empty go in because food is good - if more than 1 table is occupied don’t because not enough capacity.
It's very nice place to accomudation.. they have given tea/coffee compliment in room. it's bit costlier bcoz of weekend, around 185 pounds though online booking.. but, while reach directly price might be bit less. good fecilieties, with nice bath room, bed and room heater.. it's located in richmond street. reception peoples are very nice to guide.. breakfast is avaiable if a bit less price due to staying there.
The service and food were amazing! Particularly liked Lentil and Borsh soups - both very fresh.
Deserves a 5-star review. This place does what it claims to say. Has amazing food with good portions, service is great, very small eating area, prices are low relative to other places in the St. Andrews square area. Go for a quick delicious bite before starting the day exploring Calton Hill or climbing Arthur’s Seat!
Really nice food, very fresh and price was reasonable. Good selection on the menu.Food: 5/5
Food was great , nice wee place , however staff were very unwelcoming and ignorant. Shame as probably won’t be back. Service with a smile doesn’t cost much.
Very good food, tasty vegetarian haggis and great location.Food: 5/5
Great food, fab service. I enjoyed my time there with my partner, although one of the waiters showed poor personal hygiene and it turned us off a little. The rest of it was brilliant.
Good atmosphere, appreciated wide variety of menu choices.
Lovely coffee, fairly quiet if you miss the lunch rush. Food tastes great. I've come here on both my trips to Edinburgh.
