What is the biggest factor to make a coffee shop great? The coffee? The interior? The comfy chairs? Nope, for me it's the service, the conversation, the banter, the "good morning, how are you?" Cafe Nero in Woking may have great Italian style dark roasted coffee, relaxing classical music, large sofas, well lit excellent facilities, but it's lacking the soul of good, salt of the earth conversation.

Friendly and comftable. Good coffee, cakes and light food, but not cheep. The café has a frontage looking onto the lovely Godalming High Street, and a semi basement and higher mid level at the rear half of the café. There is good WiFi and a mixture of couches and chairs to relax or catch up with work on a laptop. My only criticisms would be that the outside seating area at the rear is adjacent to parking for two cars and quite often one of the two toilets are out of action.
