Went inside café for first time but "Chinese foods" is my favourite! Having Salmon Teriyaki with rice and side bowl of cucumber and sort of lecture or something like that with pot of green tea. When I eat Salmon Teriyaki and rice, taste is outstanding! Will visit again one day. Would recommend for customer to eat there. 10/10

Delicious freshly cooked salmon teriyaki served with an excellent side salad. Loved the modern crockery, airy space and charming staff. And the carrot cake was superb!
Lovely cafe with big windows on a quiet road, reasonable priced, wifi, friendly staffs. Few notes: no bathroom, no background music playing, with plugs. Good place for work/meeting. Or lunch takeawaynear Liverpool station *if you wanna get food for the train please be early, I order the salmon instead of katsu since the owner told me it will be quicker but I almost miss my train. However they refunded me and the food is amazing, worthy the wait, definitely recommended.
Delicious food and great coffee, never been disappointed here! Just make sure you go early because they sometimes sell out of the more popular dishes later in the day!

3.5 stars for me. I was looking for a coffee shop to work at and it's not ideal. Coffee is good. Can't say about the food because I didn't order food. Soothing music in the background. However, the smell and smoke from the kitchen is sooooo strong. Almost like they don't have an air extractor. It's not like I was there at peak lunch time. I arrived at 2pm and the smell was still very strong at 4pm. I was sat at the window. But the window table is very sticky. I used a napkin to remove some sauce. As it was still sticky, i then asked nicely if I could have a towel to clean and the lady look annoyed. She just passed her cleaning cloth once without any product.
I absolutely loved my experience at Current Cafe! The Katsu Curry was amazing - the chicken was tender, and the curry sauce was flavourful and had just the right level of spice. The service was also top-notch - the staff was friendly and attentive. But what really stood out was the beautiful environment - the cafe is cosy and inviting, with plenty of natural light and lovely decor. I will definitely be back!
The matcha lattes are so good in here! NEED to go back and try their food. However the white woman in there needs to fix her face and attitude, you are in a customer service role.
I've been trying to visit and support local cafes in my area, and had walked past Current Cafe on a few occasions. Finally went in for lunch today and was definitely not disappointed! I had the katsu curry - a good-sized portion which came with a tasty cucumber salad on the side. I also love that the katsu was baked and not deep-fried - lunch was filling without being heavy. The owners are lovely too and very warm and friendly - thank you so much for a nice lunch! I definitely hope to be back soon :
