Love this place. Good to feed the ducks and geese. Also in a month there should be baby ducks and baby geese. Go back every week to see how they grow.. Good walks off from the pool in all directions..
Nice place to come for a walk with the family. Be careful of dog muck though as seems to be a lot of walkers and not much cleaning up after themselves. Also when we visited there was a strange couple throwing entire slices of bread in to the pond for the ducks...not surprising that the ducks didn't fancy the huge pieces of bread being lobbed at them so any decent photos were ruined by a white loaf. Parking is free and seems to be plenty of it so we had no trouble in that respect. I'd recommend it for a nice explore in the new forest but there are plenty of other spots to take a pick from.

We had a lovely walk around the pond. We saw ducks, geese and various small wild birds in the trees. Horses were away in the distance and even with quite a few cars in the car park it was very peaceful and relaxing.
Lovely spot to park. Nice views and walks. Pretty much always busy but rare you can't find a space.
