Great location and a lovely place to stay for a few days. Friendly and helpful staff. Some rooms quite small but very clean. Ate at the glasshouse every night and the food was nice and the service great. Been coming here for many years and will return.

Lovely traditional hotel. Staff friendly and helpful. Rooms pretty well appointed and comfortable although if you're a light sleeper, the creaky hallway floors might not be your friend in certain rooms. Swimming pool and sauna is nice although changing facilities are looking a little tired. WiFi is free but a bit slow. Breakfast was great and dinner was good but portions could have been slightly bigger. Real ale was only available by bottle but other than that, it was an enjoyable stay. Would definitely stay again

Bedroom good. Bathroom okay but noisy extractor fan. Food good. Staff helpful. Real ale in bar not available. Good for our 2 night break.

Charming hotel in the New Forest. The rooms are of a high standard with en-suit facilities featuring family rooms if required. The rooms I saw were decorated very similar in a contemporary style, whilst the bathrooms had a bath and shower or a combination. The bar area is neat and compact with a small outside area with trendy furniture overlooking the carpark and main road. There is also a swimming pool at this hotel which looked very inviting after a day spent exploring the New Forest. Dogs are welcome here and there is a nice touch of a "dog treat" jar in the reception where other information about the New Forest can be found. All the staff I had contact with were very knowledgeable and only too pleased to help with any question or to make your stay enjoyable.

Very noisy from outside the room. Banging hallway doors. Restaurant quality does not match the price...
