Fantastic traditional family run butcher's. Been passing the place for years and finally tried it out past work commitments didn't fit in with their opening hours. Didn't disappoint. Proper tasting meat completely different to mass produced and packaged supermarket products. Love the well-dressed butcher in shirt and tie. Respect! And, don't let the queue put you off. There are days when you can walk straight in with a very short wait. I heard from a journalist friend its popularity is due to their constant welcoming service to the community especially throughout its early years of business, in the 1960s; everybody was always welcome and served. Huge respect!
Seriouy these guys are the best.Lovely gentle men,they are so kind and helpful. They would never let you carry the load to your car.They are on another level.Customer service is the best.I have been going to this shop over 26 yrs.Great place to get your fresh meat from.
Best butchers in Town! If you intend to visit that shop make sure you come prepaired as there is quite long queue. But well worth the wait Average time in queue. 45 minutes to 1 hour Service. Very welcoming ,kind and speedy . Cost. Best in town Highly recommend.
The Best Butchers ever !!!!... Polite Friendly Service with smiles every time and their prices are comparably great value for money. My entire family have always bought from them since the early 80s because they are the only place to go for your hygienic fresh and or frozen meats. Occasionally, one finds long queues outside but remember that 'good things come to those who wait'. Do not let that ever discourage you. I strongly recommend them so please go check them out for yourself.
My parents and family members, have always shopped, at John Line. A tradition butcher s that, know their craft and can advise their customers. Traditional butchers surrounding the city of London, are few and far between. John Line Butchers, has been serving, the community for 60 years. With fresh meat, at affordable prices. Kensal Rise, has become "gentrified", .John Line has always, remained loyal, to its customers. Its the sort of butcher s found in the wealthier more. affluent parts of London. Forget Supermarket s, cellophane wrapped cuts of meat. Support. traditional 'Artisan', butchers serving meat at affordable prices .
Their meat is second to none. Great quality at affordable prices. Very friendly staff with great sense of humour. They cut the meat any way you ask them to. Wouldn't go anywhere else.
Finally visited this place after years and years of hearing good things about it and always seeing a long queue coming out of this butchers ever since I was little, I couldn’t get lamb mince but anything else you could dream of was there. Workers are helpful friendly and respectful. Iv not been to a butchers before where the actual butchers look like Hollywood movie stars. I’m glad I took the time to visit after all these years, this butchers is run how a butcher store should be run
I am a regular at this butcher. I like the fact that it is family run. The customer service is something that isnt taught. The butchers are friendly, helpful and they cut the meat, exactly how you want it. The other bonus is the price. A person can walk in there with £20 and get a large variety of cuts in different amounts. Good value.
Please don't go by any bad reviews of people on here. I have always purchased meat from John line and they are the best. Their prices are reasonable and the meat is 100% fresh. Every butcher there knows the cut. You just describe the kind of meat you want and they get it for you. I totally recommend John Line butchers for your meaty needs.
Never disappointed, meat is always fresh and display is pretty. Only issue sometimes, the line can be very long to get in. Worth it though
