Decided to try here for a friend's birthday. Good menu with plenty of choice. Place is very nicely decorated and looks very much like a diner. There was 4 of us and our main meals were fantastic we all enjoyed them. Dessert on the other hand was a different story. Each dessert was brought out separately for some reason. They weren't great for the price. Both brownie and waffles were hard and the biscoff sundae was lacking the biscoff. Desserts were like someone just flung them together. Service was friendly and the atmosphere was nice. Will definitely come back but will skip dessert the next time. Vegetarian options: Saw a few vegetarian options. Lovely service, very attentive and kind staff. Food was very tasty, veggies seemed fresh and lots of choice, option of veggie chilli with the loaded fries was a nice variation, cute presentation with little flags. Theming of the bar was nice but not too kitschy. Would absolutely recommend, and will probably be back. Wheelchair accessibility: Accessible entrance is tucked around the corner, but they do have one.
Food fantastic.....Everything we ordered was delicious, big portions. Shout out for the gorgeous homemade coleslaw! Had delicious dessert too. Very good value for money. Will be back next week! Staff very friendly and efficient. Well done.
I had high hopes for this place. It looks great from outside, although the lighting could maybe be dimmed a bit for the evening, as it looks a bit stark. Staff were very friendly but it is let down by the food. I had heard mixed reviews, but wanted to make my own decision. Unfortunately, my burger appeared to have little or no seasoning, chips looked like frozen or oven chips and onion rings were soggy. This restaurant could be great. It's close to the bus station, there's ample parking nearby and is 2 minutes from The Gaiety for pre theatre meals. Sadly, as it stands, I wouldn't recommend it. Better seasoning, good quality ingredients, fresh hand cut chips and crisp onion rings would have made such a difference.
The food was very tasty and definitely got a lot for our money. Had the best chicken wings and the burger was stacked and juicey. Staff were friendly and the place was very clean. We will definitely be going back :
Great place for no nonsense comfort food in Ayr. Burgers were especially nice, seasoned & cooked well. Staff lovely & what an upgrade on the old Boswell’s.. place looks lovely
Went in with a large group staff were super welcoming, really helpful and patient when ordering. Service was amazing and the place was amazingly clean. Food was delicious ,everyone enjoyed their food.will be returning asap. Such a kind environment would highly recommend.
Absolutely superb breakfast. Staff were friendly and welcoming, too.
Very disappointed in this place. Ordered breakfast french toast for me pancakes for my friend. Had to send mine back as burnt was sorted quickly. Pancakes were just out a packet and 2 small rashes of streaky bacon the French toast 2 very thin slices of bread again 2 small pieces of streaky bacon. Compared with other places this was poor and not cheap for breakfast. Will not be returning.
