A very welcoming bar, good selection of drinks available and reasonable prices. Kind of cosy in the evenings. I Highly recommended a visit here, it's not often that you find an old fashioned pub and a cheap one also.
Great pub made to feel very welcome
Absolutely love this pub , every 1 so friendly . Staff very accommodating and the perfect hostess. Didn't want.yo leave. Cant wait for my next visit xx
Great wee bar. All the sport and cheap drink
Staff very friendly and welcoming, always enjoy a drink in here, gents toilet awkward to get in and out.
It's an amazing wee pub. The owner and his staff are so friendly and offer you hospitality. I love a wee night out there
Friendly staff, good prices, entertainment and very lively.
Smashin place. Good pints. There is a secret passage somewhere that old sailors used to use when they got into Ayr at 4 in the morning and fancied a pint. Still to find it though.
Homely environment, staff welcoming and prices aren't too bad x
The Anchor Bar is the Anchor Bar. Forget luxury. Uffortunately the Gent's are from the last century. But the pub atmosphere is great and the prices very reasonable. Sport on TV, mainly racing and football, but kept quiet. No music apart from MTV, not too loud. If bogs were sorted it would have 5 stars.
