Absolutely fantastic garage. We have purchased a couple of vehicles from Burns garage and there sales team are one of the best out there. Really helpful and honest. We also get our vehicles serviced here and again the service they provide is way above other garages.
Had a fantastic experience purchasing a car recently. Wasn't able to get to the dealership so Nick filmed the car for me, answered all my questions and sent everything I needed over email. they delivered it for a very reasonable price and I am so happy with the car and my experience with everyone at Burns
I visited Burns Garages in November 2017 after finding a 2014 Fiesta on their website that matched everything I was looking for and for an amazing price too. I had done 6 weeks of research into prices and specs for that model so I knew the price was hard to beat. Every element of my interaction with Burns Garages was exceptional. I travelled a 40 mile round trip to view the car and to be perfectly honest it was the most productive and satisfying 40 mile trip I've ever had. I called beforehand and Mike had brought the car out ready for when I arrived. After being given as much time and space as I needed to view the car, I was offered a very thorough test drive, which was fantastic. I committed to the purchase that day and completed the purchase a few days later. When I came to pay and collect my new car Mike took the time to show me all the functions in my new car which I really appreciated. The transaction was smooth with no pushy sales talk for extras, and no discrimination for being a cash buyer. Even Robert Burns himself the owner took the time to come and meet me as he'd heard I'd had a horrible experience elsewhere. Burns is a non pushy, no haggle dealership and there's no need to negotiate. A lot of their cars like the one I purchased came from Burns as new and have been maintained by them throughout. The cars are competitively priced, and the service is invaluable. With the next 2 scheduled services, 1 year breakdown, and 3 month warranty included, there's no way I'd have got a better deal elsewhere. Mike even called me a week later to see how I was getting on with my new car. I am and will be recommending Burns Garages to everyone I know, you'd be hard pushed to find a more caring car dealership. This place really is a priceless gem in a bed of thorns. I wasn't even a fan of Fords before visiting here, but now I don't consider buying from anyone else!

I purchased a Ford Fiesta 18 plate back in May and have had a few problems over the year. First the washers stopped working 1 day after the warranty. No problem, they honoured it under warranty and fixed it which was great. Then I called asking what a “Sales Service” was as I was unsure if that qualified as a minor or major so didn’t know when it was due. Got told to go off the sales service which was May for the servicing when I phoned them in January. I tried to book the service in advance online but they cancelled it with no follow up call as to why it was cancelled. So I called them a few days later and asked why and was told it’s to do with availability with the Ford website. A few days later I Had a problem with my bonnet not opening so I nipped over and got told it was a £35 fix without being disclosed that this was without labour which seems odd as I wouldn’t want just the part! Then I thought while I was there I’ll book the service again when I was in the garage they actually said it’s 10 days late and a sales service is checking seatbelts etc! So now my car was overdue as someone told me the wrong thing. Great! And to add to that their reason for cancelling the original CHEAPER service was because the price was wrong and that they’re not associated with Ford anymore, even though you can still book the service with the cheaper pricing on the website and they’re still an approved dealer. So instead of paying £225 for a service I’m now paying £275 which is wrong and misleading and I was treated like I was in the wrong. Service was awful as they told me multiple wrong things throughout. In the photos I’ve included my original booking screenshot of the Ford website and my call history. I feel like I was mislead and taken advantage off and won’t be going back! WOULD AVOID
Just bought a car from this garage, dealt with a very professional gentleman called Karl. What an amazing family run business Burns Garage is, the whole layout of the place is exceptional, the choice of vehicles amazing and the friendly service is second to none, no pushy sales people. All the paperwork was done professionally and was told if i had any queries to just telephone. Definitely will continue to use and recommend this garage. Thank you so much for everything Karl. This is by far the best customer focused business i have ever dealt with i would give 100% on every aspect of this business.
Amazing customer service that was polite, smooth and without pressure at any stage. While I do not write this to set precedent or expectation, my experience was being given a PX valuation, test drive and time to inspect what became my car AFTER I turned up with 30 minutes to closing on a Saturday. Collected my new Fiesta Active X yesterday . Neil handled everything perfectly from ordering to delivery ,following strict Covid guidelines. Always dealt with so well by Burns Garages. New car sales, Chris and staff in service and Wendy in administration. Robert always thanks me for choosing them again for my purchase. A lovely family business second to none.
Recieved delivery of my car today and I couldnt be more happy with the service I recieved. I was hesitant about buying from here as I live in the north east and was unable to see the car in person due to covid restrictions. From the initial conversations with Karl I felt at ease about the process, he couldnt have helped any more than he did. The communication was excellent throughout, I was kept up to date at all times. Highly recomended!
