Over the past two years we have had two wood burning stoves installed by Burning Desire. Initially Ben visited our home and he advised on the most suitable stoves for our own specific needs. The whole operation from consultation to installation went off in a very efficient and professional manner and we have been happy with our wood burning stoves. We have no hesitation in recommending Burning Desire Richard and Margaret Bragg

In summary: highly recommended professional service. I used Burning Desire to install two stoves at a house I am renovating. Burning Desire have achieved an excellent result for both stoves. The journey from start to finish was excellent. 1. Made first enquiry on the phone in November, and was welcomed to come to showroom 2. Went to showroom, was shown round and given a very good indicative cost, and agreed to proceed 3. Ben came to our house, conveniently on a Saturday morning, and spend a good few hours measuring up, and making recommendations. I had a number of ideas, however, on listening to Ben's professional advice, I went with his suggestions (which turned out to correct) 4. Fitters came on time and on the day agreed. Very good team, installed the fireplaces and flues over two days, and to a very high standard. I'd checked out a number of other suppliers who either could not commit to my deadline, refused to meet our specification, or didn't show up on time (if at all). Burning Desire were the only company who ticked all the boxes, and when making an investment of this magnitude, there is no point in cutting corners (you'll pay for it later). Pleased to have worked with Ben and his team, and supported a local family business.

We cannot recommend this company too highly. Fantastic service from start to finish and the fitter was definitely prepared to go the extra mile and did a wonderful job. Our fireplace is not only functional, but looks incredible even when the fire is not on. Thank you Burning Desire.

Ben and the rest of the team at Burning Desire made the whole process of purchasing the right stove for the size of our room really easy. Superb advise from start to finish. The fitting of the fire turned into a bit of a nightmare due to the age of the house and the hidden modifications made over its history. However all obstacles were overcome with the experience and proffesssional of the Burning Desire staff. We would recommend them to anyone wishing to have any fire installed. We still go back to purchase our wood and also the yearly servicing as we know that we will get a great service.

Earlier this year we changed our gas fire and surround through Burning Desire. They helped us choose the most suitable fire, and arranged for a special height surround. The installation team were very efficient, and Ben was helpful in sorting out an initial mismatch in finish between the trim and fret. On the back of this excellent service, our daughter purchased a replacement trim and fret for her own fire. This dragged on a little as she was finding difficult to decide on the right finish. BD arranged for her to try a couple of alternatives at home, which helped her to feel comfortable with her final choice. Throughout this saga all the BD team were invariably patient and helpful. I would have no hesitation in recommending this company.
