Burnby Hall Gardens is an absolutely beautiful place to visit. We loved walking around and taking in the sights and scents of the many flowers in bloom. The gardens are well-maintained and offer a peaceful atmosphere, perfect for a relaxing day out.One of the highlights of our visit was feeding the fish in the ponds. It was a delightful experience, especially for children, and added a fun, interactive element to our walk.We also stopped by the café, and the food was delicious. The menu had a good variety of options, and everything we tried was fresh and tasty. The café is a great spot to take a break and enjoy a meal while soaking in the views of the gardens.Overall, Burnby Hall Gardens is a wonderful place to spend a few hours. Whether you're a nature lover, a family with kids, or just looking for a peaceful retreat, it’s well worth a visit. I’ll definitely be returning!
This was a stopping point with my two young daughters to break a long journey up. We had a lovely few hours in the gardens, the playground and the cafe. We could have spent longer within the grounds but time was restricted with our travels. My two year old was amazed with the fish and even my 11 month old showed interest. The playground is lovely and an added bonus as we didn’t expect a children’s play area. Fortunately I had a towel in the pram to dry the equipment down after last nights rain. There was lots to do in the playground and we could have spent longer than we did.nThe grounds are just beautiful and very well maintained.nnThe cafe which is separate from Burnby Hall I assume privately owned? was very good. The children’s menu is very well priced and the hot cheese scones were delicious. My only complaints would be that I wasn’t checked up on during the meal to order more drinks and the coffee wasn’t the best. Traveling solo and being seated outside meant that I was unable to attract the waitresses attention to order more drinks and I was unable to go inside as it would mean leaving my two children unattended.
Lovely different areas to see. Feels calming. You can't actually access the hall unless you pay for a guided tour. You can buy fish food and feed the Carp and Roach fish.
Delightful grounds to walk around. Really friendly volunteer staff. Excellent cafe serving all manner of treats. Thoroughly enjoyable place to visit with fascinating family history.
This place is magical. The tulip festive was well worth a visit even in the rain. We fed the fish and walked around the gardens. Mostly flat with plenty of benches to sit and rest along the way. The cafe was lovely aswell.
