Not going to lie, my favourite thing about walking around the gardens is neing able to feed the giant carp! They also have a lovely little aviary. It's a beautiful place, perfect for picnics or if you just fancy a relaxing walk.

Beautiful gardens with good access. The paths all the way round were well maintained so it was easy to get around the lake. There were benches to rest on every now and then. Level entry and an attached car park with a few disabled spaces. The cafe looked a bit crowded as if it might be difficult to navigate round in a wheelchair or using a walker but there was good space to sit outdoors.

Lovely garden. Although the lake is currently under repair it's still worth a visit. We had a light lunch at the tea shop then walked around the gardens. The work on the lake is due to be completed by the end of May (2018).

Particularly adept groundsmen. They do a great job. Especially Adam. He's unstoppable on a ride on mower

a really nice day out, reasonably priced for a private hall, buy a year's membership and get some "visitors" tickets to take friends along too! it's really worth visiting in all the seasons, the gardens and grounds are fabulous, plenty of unusual plants and sculptures to be seen, the bluebell garden is wonderful, and the lake filled with carp! the tea room is fabulous, not too expensive, but not the cheapest - but the quality of the cakes is tremendous! tea and coffee bother excellent too, and great ice creams, we've visited 4-5 times now, a real hidden gem!! check their website and facebook page for a list of events... they have quite a full calendar, and it can get quite congested in the car park, but there is some car parking not too far away if you do some research prior to visiting.
