Great place - but oh the food is thumbs down - unless you actually like frozen chips frozen peas and a half inch deep rubbery fish cake ( frozen) for £8 special.  Not good and way overpriced.   Wasn't great they served mushroom pate to a vegetarian in our party which was actually meat with mushrooms in.  Scrambled egg full of unwhisked white bits and so overcooked.  Sorry - just not good enough.

Just stayed for 4nigts in our tourer, weather wasnt kind but we managed the easter egg hunt...great fun. Cafe is fantastic with the best breakfast in Yorkshire and lovely friendly staff! Owners and water staff also really nice, such a nice place and  dog friendly 🐾. More improvements on the way this summer with a new tourer section and so we will be back...again 😁

Terrible weekends this time. All was fine before landlord came drunk one night, we could even understand what she wanted. Then driven away drunk all over the land, visiting other families.  Don't go there to have a good time. Avoid at all times

Great place to visit although I was left very disappointed after visiting the waterside cafe for a coffee, we walked in and directly in front of us was a professional coffee machine, we ordered 2 Cappuccino coffees only to be given 2 of the worst coffees I have ever tasted, instead of getting it from the professional machine the waitress went to an instant coffee machine, our 'Freshly made' Cappuccinos came from instant coffee powder and some frothed up powdered milk! Absolutely disgusting, the worst coffee I have ever tasted.
