After making an error in my referral and sending me all the way to Maidstone, instead of two teeth being removed this dentist told them one in the letter. This left me with one tooth being removed and the other braking in half. The clinic in Maidstone refused to remove the half tooth without a new referral. After spending the weekend in agony I made an emergency appointment on Monday, to which I was told I would have to wait another week to have the half tooth removed, despite their error. I was told he did not have time to remove it now, leaving me another week of pain. I was not offered any painkillers. They were very keen to remind me of all the costs though, and to ensure I booked a check up and removal so they could charge me twice. All in all more concerned about taking your money than helping you out. Avoid at all costs.

When a crown fell out, the dentist spent 10 munutes offering me only two options: a false tooth (saying: "Which I don't think you want") or a titanium implant, quoting a price for each (the latter approx £2.2k). It was me who suggested a bridge & he replied: "Oh yes, that too." He quoted a price of around £1k. He the suggested I come back and have the tooth extracted. When checking the website, I noticed that a bridge fitting was listed under band 3 of NHS work - significantly cheaper. I telephoned & the receptionist confirmed bridges are available under the NHS. She asked if I'd received a dental plan, I said no and she said it'd be best to discuss with the dentist. I returned for the extraction & mentioned the pricing. He replied, "but we'd agreed, you were paying the £2.2k?" I said no & his assistant checked the website, saying: "To be fair, it does say NHS on the website." He replied: "Ah well, the website is wrong." He then started talking about false teeth again & asked if I wanted to forget about the extraction. I replied: "You said it was important that I had it removed as soon as possible." He seemed very flustered and reiterated the cost for the bridge. The next hour was the most painful experience of my life. Tearing my gums, pulling, wobbling and shattering the tooth, after an hour, he said: "I can't do it. You're going to have to go to hospital, I will send a referral." He showed me an X-ray of the root, saying it was too awkward ro remove. He warned me that, after an hour of trying to extract a tooth I would need very strong painkillers as once the numbness went, it would be extremely painful - and wrote out a prescription. I asked what happens next and he said to contact him once I'd been to hospital. I went to the chemist with my prescription and was told they couldn't do anything as he had not stamped the address! Tried to call the dentist but they'd closed. This was four days ago in which time I have been laid up in bed, in constant pain & counting the hours until the next painkiller. The teeth on either side of the one he was 'working on' seem to be wobbling and I am unable to speak properly. Avoid at all costs.

I have been going here and received so much stress and trauma from my experiences, I have had a couple of fillings ALL of which fell out with the first two week of having it done, I have gone back to have them done again and BOTH the dentists I have had have severely struggled during the procedure, the lastest one fell out a couple of months ago which I didn't notice for a while, I had tried to book to get it redone but now I am am facing a MASSIVE gaping hole in my tooth ( I didn't feel any pain so I didn't notice) and am going to have to have multiple fillings on teeth around it, Very Expensive, waste of time, ultimately DO NOT go here if you want to keep your teeth. Absolutely devastated!
