We love this restaurant, the food is delicious, authentic and good value. We shared a garlic bread, which was super thin and delicious. For our mains we had a couple pizzas and the linguine. If you are looking for your weekly pizzeria hit, this is the location to go.Food: 5/5
I went into this experience expecting a quality, Italian dinner. What I experienced was mediocre service and unpredictable cuisine. Service: The new server was unfamiliar with the menu and had to ask the kitchen about how a special of day was prepared. A little education goes a long way! I asked for water twice and from two different servers and it never arrived. Food: Our pasta mains were quite good. Flavorful and nicely sized portions. Unfortunately, the side of sautéed spinach i ordered was actually rotten. Brown, slimy stems and leaves with a rancid odor. We were not charged for the spinach but the issue was also not addressed nor was an apology made. Definitely not a Buona Sera.
Fantastico! The picture does not do it justice! Very relaxed atmosphere Thursday, very old school style restaurant but super homely feel - just like the food. It was delicious! The manager, or who I assumed the was the manager, was super charming. The crowd it attracts is very yummy mummy, 2 prams etc etc but that is standard on Northcote Road unfortunately. Aside from this, I would highly recommend this place, for a family meal, a birthday celebration, or even a date!
The restaurant is about 6 minute walk from the Clapham Junction station. There we’re seating available outside and inside. Apart from the standard menu there was a today’s special menu too. Really good choice of starters and mains were available. Some vegetarian and vegan dishes were on the menu too. My chickpea and vegetable soup was average but the rabbit dish tasted good. Food and drinks were reasonably priced and the customer service was good. The atmosphere was very vibrant although the restaurant was very busy and loud.
This is an excellent Italian. We started with the calamari and then had seafood linguine and spaghetti meatballs. Not gourmet but still very tasty. Service not amazing, but good enough. Considering the price, overall very goodFood: 5/5
Brilliant experience start to finish, really friendly wait staff, who couldn't do more to help including allowing us to change tables from outside to in after my elderly mother started feeling the cold. The food was fantastic and the specials were beautiful. 100% will be backFood: 5/5
Very nice, big open with different seating areas, the menu was basic and no nonsense, it catered for the whole family. It also had a welcoming energy that made you feel at home and relaxed. However the seats were slightly worn out and I had to change mine to a more stable one. When the food arrived the garlic bread was very nice, it reminded me of Persian bread, on the other hand make sure you order few different the main dishes because they do tiny portions, and compared to other places, thé pana cota was not nice. But I recommend it for atmosphere and large group gatherings.
Have been a regular for many years and I have never been disappointed. The one thing which stands out is their hospitality. The team and there managers are doing an incredible service with good humour and friendliness. Food is always good Great atmosphere, especially in the summer ! Can’t wait to go back !!!
Service with a smile and sometimes a hug in this superbly friendly family owned and run restaurant. Great that they’ve got a specialist vegan menu - with loads of choices. The venue was full and the atmosphere buzzing. I’ll be back in a heartbeat
one of my favourite places to come and eat at in clapham. wonderful, friendly staff and accommodating service. since moving here in august, i’ve returned here 5 times and ordered the same thing 4 times, the seafood linguine! one of the best i’ve ever had! only downside is that sometimes i order it doesn’t come with large prawns, and sometimes it does. either way, still a delightful meal. highly recommend
