The gym is very close to me and this makes it a great place to go after work. The only downside is there inability to act when this one gasser leaves his weights out all the time. I am constantly telling the bloke in question but he just laughs it off and says ' puh do you even lift?' And 'someone else will do it you gasser!' Half my workout is spent picking this guys weights up off the floor and the equipment. Plus his gym shorts are disgusting. Does he ever take them off? Other than that. Love this facility to achieve my bulking goals

Gym is nice, Small but usually quiet and everyone is happy to share equipment and you can normally get all the equipment you would like. Free Badminton is an excellent add on, Im currently unbeaten which is quite the achievement. One negative review for the gym would be this one geezer in the gym, calls himself "waz" or "faz" or something. Hes being constantly warned about putting his equipment away by the staff but has not listened. One time i was doing squats and his exercise ball came flying across the room and almost knocked over my gym partner sohj. Music is good , few bangers and the water machine is always nice and cold. #bulmershebulkers

It's enough to fulfil my requirements as beginner and it's close by. So, can't complain!

The gym itself is fairly basic. The equipment is hand-me-downs from other gyms that have been upgraded. It would be nice to have some more modern equipment similar to what's on offer at Lower Earley.

The swimming pool is a decent size if you can bear to get past the changing rooms to see it. They are incredibly unclean - hair or all sorts, mud, plasters, blood, etc. all over the floor. I did not want to touch the floor with my feet bare. This is hygiene standards being neglected at a basic level and the company is clearly violating health and safety standards as it's a massive breeding ground for infections and a lot of children use this pool.
