Food and service was excellent, my curry was amazingly good. The chicken pie had huge chunks of chicken under a flaky top. Only downside is sticky table top from the cleaning materials. Bogs were upstairs but good, plenty of parking. Recommend the place. My Sunday afternoon visit was well timed with few people there. Lots of interesting alcoves.
Great pub serving excellent choice of foods, at competative prices. Good selection of beers and friendly staff. Large garden. Plenty of seating inside and outside. Interesting history relating to when Louis XVIII lived at the nearby Hartwell House Estate.
Came for an impromptu Thursday afternoon lunch and the food was delish! I had the sticky duck pizza which was lovely. The kids meals lasagne/sausages was a good portion for the children and the cod loin went down very well. Reasonable pricing not cheap, the ambience is lovely and the service was polite and helpful. Recommended.
Had an evening meal here, booking the table earlier in the day. Arrived and there was lots of parking. The table had plenty of space around it and the room didn't feel crowded. The food selection is varied, plenty of choice for everyone. Food was gorgeous, hot and well presented. The staff were friendly, but did seem a little rushed at times, although we still felt relaxed. A good place for a nice meal, just off the main road. Definitely recommend.
Lovely pub just opposite Hartwell House. Homely food that's tasty, hearty and designed to stuff you with plenty of delightful treats. The beer flows well London Pride among them and the atmosphere is welcoming. Staff are polite and helpful. Lovely pub to visit. I like the set up of the separate rooms.
Stopped off here to let the traffic slow down, lovely traditional pub with open fire. Friendly welcoming staff, a no fuss simple menu backed up with fantastic food. Well worth a visit if your passing, ample parking to the rear of the building
An absolutely excellent meal. Fabulous vegetarian 'seed roast' dinner with delicious roasted carrots. Rich, moist chocolate brownies & great coffee too.
Have been into the bugle horn a few times due to work but never eaten in there before went in for belated birthday meal and have to say the beef roast I had was perfect could not fault it hands off to another superb local pub
The best roast dinner outside of our home - and that’s saying something!! A roast can be over complicated, or have a less than homely feel to it when eating out; well not at the bugle horn!! The roast potatoes were crispy, all three meats cooked to perfection, and al dente roasted/steamed vegetables to accompany. The cauliflower cheese was rich and the stuffing side order was super tasty!! My dad had the candied vegetarian roast and said it was the best veggie alternative he has ever had - and he was 76 yesterday that’s ALOT of Sunday dinners! Thanks again to the team at TBH, Ed most certainly will return again … and look forward to doing so. Give the chef our compliments again he really did make a special day perfect.
Enjoyed a very nice Sunday Lunch here the other day. It was quite busy when we turned up but the staff were friendly and did their best to keep everyone happy. Would definitely go back anytime.
