"South Wales Vets started life over 10 years ago on Malpas Road in Newport and in that time we have grown from one to seven branches.Our aim is to provide veterinary care at a fair and reasonable price to all animals, at all times, regardless of their owner’s income, background or circumstances.We offer all the same services and facilities you would expect to find in any other veterinary practice and in some cases, more. From in-house laboratories to digital x-ray machines, our equipment ensures that your pet gets the right treatment as soon as possible."

My dog is struggling with breast problems and the vet that seen her was so informative and my dog also struggles with other dogs but this vets was more than accommodating and made us feel welcome and really helped with what was going on with my dog .. my dog is getting on in life and deserves really good care and I feel she got that.
i took my cat there i was told a consultation was £55 pounds which was a lot because im on benefits which i told them before i booked the visit they spent five minutes looking at my cat did not explain why my cat was not doing his business regarding the litter tray when i came to pay they charged me £52 pounds for consultation fee and £26 pounds for one tablet and £39 pounds for a small bottle of laxative that you can buy from the chemist for £5 I feel really miffed and ripped off big time , will not be going back there EVER
I have used this practice formally known as Budget Vets for years and they have been kind, understanding and efficient with regard to treatment. They saved my tiny cat's life both here and at the Malpas branch, where she underwent surgery. I wouldnt hesitate to recommend.
Lovely welcome to this practice and the vet was faultless, kept me fully informed on all she was doing, answered all my questions patiently and thoroughly so I left happy and ready to carry on my care at home.
I'm so happy I take Buddy here. Everyone is so warm and welcoming . They have helped Buddy out massively and Buddy is always happy to see the staff.
