Story

Dinika is now Junior Vice President of the Welsh branch of the BVA.
Found in the heart of Pontypool on Commercial Street, Torfaen, South Wales, Folly Veterinary Centre is easy to get to by all modes of transport. There is also free parking to the rear of the surgery with several free public car parks nearby.

Folly Veterinary Centre is a non corporate business offering a personal service to our clients. We are open 6 days a week and offer an out of hours service.

Our friendly, forward-thinking, professional staff are dedicated to the care of your pets and providing the high quality veterinary care. We strive to deliver an excellent service to our clients to ensure your pets live a long and happy life.

Our large waiting area is divided in into a cat and dog area to minise stress.

We offer a range of services including vaccinations, worming, microchipping, neutering, ultrasonic dentistry, diagnostics including digital xray and surgery. We run a range of clinics including puppy and kitten youth clubs, weight checks, senior pet health checks and diabetes clinics. We offer advice from choosing a suitable pet to behavioural issues. Our nurses offer advice regarding flea and worming protocols, dental hygiene, nutrition and puppy training.

We do offer visiting specialist services in many areas from ultrasound, cardiology and opthalmolgy. Please contact us for more information.

Good vets they look after my Snowy the vet checked him thoroughly yesterday and was kind and gentle with him. She explained what she was doing and looking out for. The receptionists are also very kind and helpful and sometimes I have been able to get an appointment the same day. They care about each individual patient and I trust the staff’s knowledge of the medicine and how to care for my cat. Thank you, hope my good boy feels better soon
Absolutely amazing, the service me and my cat received was tip top, the staff are friendly and the vet is very good at what he does, the treatment for my cat was very well priced. I highly recommend using Folly Veterinary Centre

The Best Vets experience I have ever had! I took my dog who is very nervous to Dinika and her team at folly vets and the experience was amazing, the head vet Dinika is outstanding, her compassion and love for her job is clear. She treated my dog with care and compassion and spent a lot of time with us, never rushing. I would highly recommend this practice. Some of the big chains have lost the personal touch but Folly Vets is a 5 star practice, thank you!
My two rabbits have been with this vet for 4 years. They are fab for quick appointments and a great price for their vaccinations, in comparison to other pet related places. They are a welcoming team, if you are local and have a pet I recommend you register them here!
