Well I have the privilege of working with Budgens in the seventies and I went from manager to the merchandising team on refurbishment and back to Management before going on too other projects. LIFE IS An Adventure and coming up to my 70th Birthday on Sunday I Applaud the people who were there for ME. PEOPLE LIKE Doug Barratt Mark Chapman Graham Dunkley and many More. Seeing The Budgens I started my Career with gone is unbelievably Sad but Life Goes on. Take care and Thanks for the Memories

expensive and staff always have chewing gum in their mouth and never actually talk to customers

This place is usually quiet with friendly staff. But it closes a bit early.

Worst place. Extremely expensive and low quality food products. Few times I've bought a snack (sandwich, ham , chorizo, pastries) here I've ended up throwing it in the bin. You can find some standard brands which are fine but any of their own things or unknown brands have turned out awful to say the least.

Helpful friendly staff.so sorry to hear that this place is being closed down and demolished I do hope that this place is being replaced soon
