Food was decent, one of the better Indian restaurants I've been to. Service wasn't as good, waitress was friendly but 2 the two waiters not so much. As per the previous review the thing that drops this from a 5 star to a 4 star is the £2 packaging charge, it's kind of a strange thing to add on because if they thought about it they actually give them away for free with takeaway meals and in fact give you 15% discount on takeaway so it's cheaper still, it just seem illogical to have a charge like this that would potentially deter customers from returning just for a couple of quid profit

This is our usual place when we do Indian food. We have done both eat in and takeaway. Food is quite delicious.

The food was decent and the service was good. The thing that drags the score down a little from a solid four came at the end of the meal. We had a fair bit of food left over and asked to have it packed up so that we could take it home. There was no issue with this, but we were told that there would be a charge of £2. I can see how this would be justified - the containers have some cost attached to them, and the amount charged is fairly trivial, but it's something I've never come across before and just ended the evening on a slightly sour note. I don't think the very small financial gain to the restaurant is worth the ill-feeling that it could lead to.
