Asked for an appointment to see the nurse for my son when i arrived for said appointment turned out that the appointment was for 1 of the receptionists and not the nurse! Since when did you have to make it clear that you would like to see a fully qualified and medically trained nurse and not a receptionist when making an appointment with a nurse, what next? They might as well send all Dr's and nurses home as the receptions clearly think that can do their jobs for them without the years of university and training. Complaint will be sent to both the practice manager and NHS. this surgery needs to be investigated and soon!

My wife and I have been with this practice since approx 1980 and have never had an angry word with any Drs, Nurses and other staff. The past 15 months of pressure within the surgery is not the fault of Drs, Manager, Nurses or staff that patients have to deal with. The blame lies squarely on the SNP government with there cost cutting measures but expecting more from the NHS whether it’s from GPS, Nurses in this Surgery or at any Hospital. The new Doctors need to be given time to settle in and get to know the patients the look after. Plus the staff at the reception and behind the scene should be thanked for their efforts during a very difficult period. Surgeries in all areas are under pressure because of the demands being put on Drs etc. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION- I have already submitted the review which I stand by totally. Under no circumstances even how much patients are unhappy with what is happening at the medical centre should anyone take it out in any of the staff, nurses or Doctors as none of them created the situation. Nobody has any right to be abusive to any of the nurses or staff. They are all doing their jobs under very DIFFICULT CIRCUMSTANCES all caused by the government. It is happening across Scotland in surgeries and hospitals. What would patients do if someone came to their home and were abusive to them. They would telephone for the police to attend. So why do some patients think they have the right to take it out on the staff ,nurses or anybody connected to this practice. Just think if you had to phone for the police as the Bellshill Office is practicably closed and nobody knows how long it will take Police to attend, would you be abusive to officers who attended, longer than you thought should have taken. I don’t think so as you would be arrested. So when attending the surgery give a thought to all the staff who are doing their best.

The worst reception EVER!! I have placed a complaint to the NHS, lost my urine sample, was VERY unhelpful, except for one receptionist Alison, but after my first phone call I had no more correspondence with her unfortunately!! I have never in my life been treated so unfairly, the last receptionist couldn’t care less!! I have been since then told of so many compliments to this surgery!! An utter disgrace!!

Had a ear infection since Friday saw a doctor on the Monday and Tuesday. Now the infection is going thank you all so much

Nice staff and the doctors are very helpful taking more than just a few minutes (unlike other surgeries do) to go over your issues. The PA system that announces your appointment could do with being replaced though.
