Quite a good restaurant in the neighbourhood offering some great views of the pier. The interiors will make you feel right at home and the waiting staff engages in good conversations. The portion size though small is very tasteful and we would definitely come back here for a nice and relaxed Sunday evening dinner!
Had Christmas lunch/dinner here as no one was on the cooking spirit. my first time visiting a Browns traditional English style pub, classically dressed servers and friendly door staff. The food was as expected, and would suit a mature British palette.
Great atmosphere, lovely service, amazing views. Oh and the food was spot on too, I had the duck parfait and ribeye steak. Recommended for a sophisticated yet relaxed vibe.
We had our wedding reception at Browns Buflers Wharf on 1st Sept and could not be happier with the service received. Bella, the manager that took care of us from when we first enquired and started organising the day according to our budget, up until the day actual Day of the event was AMAZING. She handled all our questions and requests professionally and still with the most friendly attitude. And so did the whole staff in general as the day approached and we had to visit the restaurant a few times to drop decorations, the cake etc.. The food served on the day as part of the Occasions Menu, was tasty, fresh and in generous quantities. The room we booked was beautiful, spacious and prepared to perfection for our celebration. Our waitresses, Ana and Alexandria also did an amazing job ensuring with were spoiled with all that we needed! Thank you to the all the staff at Browns Butlers Wharf for contributing to make our wedding day celebration very special!!!
My friends and I visited for dinner and drinks after work. This is a lovely riverside venue, towards the end of the wharf if you are coming from London Bridge which means is it nice and quiet. You can enjoy great food with delicious cocktails while you soak in the relaxed atmosphere and lovely views along the river. The service was great too.
Enjoyed our meal ten out of ten. Staff let you enjoy a lovely bottle of wine perfect views. Loved this afternoon.
Always a treat for terrace dining by the Thames. Great consistency with food and excellent service, today especially by Nene & Chef who went over and beyond with a late request for pastries after a delicious brunch
Went to Brown's on Butlers Wharf for afternoon tea. When we arrived, we were friendly greeted and asked if we wanted to sit out or inside. It was a cold day, so we opted for indoors. If it is warm I'd recommend outside, as there is a stunning view of Tower Bridge and the Thames. Inside is a bit too dark for my eyes, so you may want to ask for a window seat if you would like more light. I guess this is to give a more relaxed and cosy feeling. We ordered a few of Brown's own soft drinks, beer and cocktails, while we were waiting for someone from our party to arrive. The drinks were very nice, a bit on the heavy side with the ice, so if you do order, ask for no ice. We all ordered afternoon tea and they were accommodating to our food requests and manged to work around the dietary requirements of one of our party. Nothing was too much trouble. The afternoon tea was well presented, looked and tasted delicious. You could choose when to have the tea as well; we opted to have the tea itself with the scones and petit fours. It was extremely well priced considering the location. I would definitely recommend going to Brown's on a trip down to London.
The restaurant facilities were good as you would expect with a Browns place and most of the food. The meet and greet wasn't great, some of the food wasn't that good for Browns but we did take into account that it was new years eve and the restaurant was 75% full.Food: 4/5
Amazing atmosphere right on the river. The meal and service were fantastic, had a really enjoyable experience. It's in a spot with a great view of the Tower Bridge as well.
