Broughton Village Bakery

What an amazing bakery and cafe, simple food and settings, but the food is exceptional. From the porridge that my son absolutely loved, to the man sized pasties that are to big for most men! The coffee suited my simple tastes in coffee and the cafe setting is rustic, simple and clean. The staff were attentive and friendly. We walked out of there with bags of pasties and pastries. Simply put, it is no wonder they were one of the top 20 UK bakeries. It is well hidden up a one way street in Broughton, well worth hunting it down.

Lovely bakery with a sense of character and charm which is difficult to find. Welcomes those who are just nipping in to those who are more interested in a sit down and a good catch up. Staff are friendly, knowledgeable and very polite. Would highly recommend.

Arrived 15 mins before opening time, but we were made welcome. Excellent breakfast breads and pastries.

A wonderful choice of cakes and savouries all baked on the premises greet you as you enter. There is a cafe section where you can eat in with a pot of tea or coffee which also offers soups and made to order sandwiches. Looking forward to visiting again asap.
