The meat and potato pies are the best I've ever tasted! Infact i can safely say everything is very tasty! It makes a change to have a cheese and onion pasty that's more cheese than anything else..... Best enjoyed warm and fresh from the oven! Great quality home cooked produce at very reasonable prices.

Each Visit to the lakes we get a treat at least once from the Pie Shop, who needs a trip to some exotic place when you can enjoy such gems as this at home, once tasted never to be forgotten.

En route to Wasdale stopped off for a packed lunch. Only steak pies left but they were excellent, as were the cakes for pudding.

Wonderful pies that should be wining awards somewhere. Theyre the best you'll ever have. I prefer the steak and mushroom or meat and potato, that's just down to my taste. Sadly closed weekends and Mondays... I'm sure they'd do a roaring trade in these days c
