Nice, clean and elegant setting on the upper level. Outside patio is nice place to enjoy a pint, not much of a view but the breeze on this midday in early August is wonderful. Plenty of seating throughout. A bit on the expensive side. Right across the road from Waterloo Station.
Came here during Fork discount offer where they do 50% off on all food order. The presentation of French food was good. However, taste wise, the escargot was over cooked and could not really taste well the flavour. Although the tuna tartare saves it a bit. The grilled prawn wasn’t the best taste. Steak was cooked alright and mussels in white wine sauce was great taste. Dessert chocolate fudge was yummy to taste. Overall, it is nice place to come with good food.
Friendly staffs, good service and the food are delicious. Lunch menu is really good deal £10 mussels and drink
Friendly staff, good service, and good food mostly. Beef bourguignon was tasty and tender. Moules were fresh and tasty. However, the escargots and fries seemed to be over-cooked. The escargots shrunk and quite tough.
Oh dear… the small plates were like an offer from Iceland, straight from the freezer. Not restaurant standard. The food was also pretty cold. Some nice wine options, but the food was a total let down. Don’t let the nice menu mislead you.
Really nice restaurant / pub type thing. Went in there for a meal during a break at work, the food was excellent the tagliatelle normand, in good quantity and was served promptly. Will happily eat there again soon.
Wow!!! Absolutely beautiful! And I take some pleasing when eating out! Confit Duck was 10/10 If in London again I will 100% be returning to here. Compliments to chef and staff
We had two starters and two main, and all the food was so mediocre. Starters looked like it came out of a frozen food, and the main food didnt have much flavour. I was hungry but none of us could finish our food. The place is totally overpriced for what you get. I would rather eat at McDonalds than here.Food: 2/5
L'Auberge is something of a 'hidden gem' in central London. My wife and I booked for a pre-theatre meal and were very impressed with the place. It also took all the stress out of trying to find somewhere to dine in 'Theatreland'. The staff were friendly and efficient, and our waitress gave us just the right amount of attention. The food and drinks were excellent and reasonably priced. Overall, I would highly recommend.
I've been a few time now and always enjoy. Staff are really friendly and helpful and the food is delicious. There's a good choice of veggie options.
