Been there weeks, still no login details for online. Tried to get a repeat Prescription from previous GP in Belfast transferred over. Belfast GP practice emailed it straight over after calling them. Went to this practice to be told they don’t accept email it needs to be printed to be scanned on? I guess they haven’t reached the Information Age yet in Holywood.
They operate a Doctor call back system - good idea. However the lines to book a call open at 830am and I recently waited 45min on two occasions just to get through - the 2nd time I was told there were no more appointments that day and would have to call again the next working day mon, with potentially another long wait just to get through. On a 3rd time I just gave up after 30mins. No way to book a call back online, no email on web to make a complaint to. Terrible service. If you are going to run a system like this then it needs to be resourced. No wonder A&Es are swamped.
First time using Brook Street Surgery. I had an initial telephone consultation and then a face to face appointment. Very professional and understanding. I had bloods checked and the results came back within 2 days. The follow up call from another Doctor was unexpected but again totally professional with excellent advice. Feeling better already!
Registered at 1pm and was slightly panicked about getting emergency medication on time. Within a few hours I was prescribed the medication. I’m incredibly grateful.
Since joining the surgery last year I have found Brook Street Doctors and staff to be professional and kind and all times. They have been really helpful especially when my kids have been unwell and I have found that the practice is run really efficiently and well.
needed some specific vaccine they didnt have. so i had to go there to get the prescription, to find a chemist that will have it in stock, they couldnt even tell me which chemist will or how to check it, to go get it and only then to call and make the appointment and bring it with me. and i had a day and a half for all this
Prescription line is only open 3 hours during the day which is not long enough In my opinion, when I rang there I waited near 10minutes to speak to someone on the phone I hung up as it was taking to long, I walked to the surgery and had to fill out a sheet for prescription did not see any hand sanitizers and buzzer would need cleaned regularly if sick people are using it to get buzzed in,
Medical side - great Admin side - not good enough.
