Brooks Designer Dress Agency is a boutique-style shop selling nearly new designer and high-end clothing, designer handbags, hats, fascinators and accessories.

Story

Saffron Walden’s must-visit designer dress agency in Rose & Crown Walk offers established and one-off labels such as Prada, Gucci, Mulberry, Missoni, Chloe, Betty Jackson and Armani.

In addition to clothes BROOKS specialise in designer handbags and regularly stock names such as Chanel, Gucci, Mulberry and Prada, all at less than half their original price.

A wide range of hats and fascinators are available to buy or hire during the summer months and there is a very popular range of jewellery which would compliment any outfit.

Since opening five years ago, the shop has become a popular shopping destination for thrifty fashionistas. The rails are lined with what owner, Nicola Brooks describes as ‘nearly-new’ and ‘new’ designer clothes with high street offerings from the likes of Karen Millen, Whistles, Joseph, Jigsaw and Hobbs.

A great find. The staff are friendly and courteous. There are high end labels in stock at low prices and the shop is clean and welcoming. I highly recommend a visit, and I will definitely shop there again!
Was put off by other reviews after I checked the shop out online. Then my fears became a reality when I received a sarcastic response from shop owner “I thought that might be the case” when I said ‘no’ very politely to a product I had initially expressed an interest in. I was also put off when I read that everything is ‘sold as seen’ and there is a no returns policy.
I've been in several times. I've never had a great experience. Today I went in twice the first time I was told the fitting room is there help yourself. Not the best customer service but not the worst either. Second trip today completely ignored and I was obviously looking for something. I've been in previously to talk about selling some of my own dresses and been treated with contempt about whether they would be high end. I was considering parting with a full length Amanda Wakely Gown. Today I find 2 tops from zara basic range for £35 each one which had a stain down the front! I like Zara but selling them for more than what they would cost new and to preach about only design no high street is just nonsense. I'm not going to bother going in again.
Fantastic shop, lots of clothing gems to be had. Nicola couldn't be nicer or more helpful. Such a great shop to have Saffron Walden.
