I had a great experience and service with the team in the store in finding a dress I needed. The only reason I gave 4* instead of 5 it's because I think the store could have more occasion/events clothing mostly now when there is a lot of weddings and other events happening comparing with winter for example. Which is something that the ladies that work there don't have any control over it but the distribution center to the stores has it. I was quite lucky to find what I needed but being a curvy person it's harder to find an occasion dress by choosing online. It's easier to try several and see what fits you better
I needed a birthday present for my girlfriend and I am absolutely clueless about ladies clothing. Walking through Saffron Walden market square, the display in window immediately caught my eye and I walked in. I was greeted by a charming young lady called Wendy who asked me if she could help and she certainly did. After a conversation about my good lady she offered great advice and knowledge and really saved my ski, also earned me significant brownie points! My lady was absolutely made up and didn't believe me when I told her that I chose it all by myself...thanks Wendy...mum's the word. Lovely shop, lovely staff, what more could you ask
Recently came into Phase 8 Saffron walden looking for an outfit for a wedding. Found all of the staff exceptionally helpful and friendly. Sandra helped me pick out a beautiful dress and accessories. Have reccomended this specific store to others as I personally found the customer service, professionalism and overall atmosphere outstanding. Thank you to Sandra for your help and making me leave the store happy and confident.
My saviours! I had been looking for a wedding outfit for my son's wedding next month and was despairing of finding anything remotely ok following a horrible trip to Cambridge where I could see absolutely nothing in the shops. So I had little expectation when I went into Phase Eight in Saffron Walden. And then I saw "the dress". I honestly felt like I had booked a personal shopper when the wonderful Phil helped me to try it on, and tell me honestly how it looked on me. I have put on a couple of pounds and was frustrated that the zip didn't quite do up...she was definite in her view that it really suited me and it would be worth trying the next size. Then Julie came over and was also so genuinely complimentary on my appearance. So then they searched high and low to source me "that dress" in a size that would fit. In short supply, the only one available was a couple of sizes bigger. But worth a try. A couple of days later it was in store and ready for me to try on. "Like Goldilocks" said Julie, " you need the size in between" And wow, they found it. SO another couple of days and it was in store. I tried it on...and just like Goldilocks..it was "just right". More than that, I felt fanatastic in it. Sandra then helped me through all of the acceessories and a fabulous jacket. I came away with my dress, contrasting jacket , clutch bag, and a wrap to have the option to change into for the evening, and she has ordered me a hat and what patience to find the likely one and shoes to finish it off. I guess in a couple of days they will contact me again to let me know they are in store and I know I will have the same fantastic service whether the hat or shoes are suitable or not. What a team. Phil, Julie and Sandra, they are stars. And I shall feel a million dollars... I also now have a favourite "go to" shop for my clothing needs. .. As long as Phil, Julie and Sandra are there!! The dress: Gretal lace dress, navy blue. The fitted jacket in cerise pink. Thank you, thank you.
I have visited this store twice in a matter of weeks to sort out an outfit for a wedding. Nothing but excellent service is all I can say. Wendy has been so helpful, with her help and advice I now have a really lovely outfit with accompanying shoes and hat. Thank you Wendy.
