This is a great little place for all your garden needs. Everything you could want without the top brand price tags. Also, the amount of fishing and hunting gear they now stock is incredible. My brother and dad are both match fishermen and they both love the level of tackle and baits. They now have like an adult (outdoor) toy section... Not the inappropriate kind. There are Rc cars, airsoft guns and loads of equipment as well, it's great. For animal section has been massively reduced from when it was Mill Garden centre but there are still loads of fish, reptiles, snakes and spider; not as much of the domestic pets like rabbits and gerbils but there is still a decent selection. Whether you are looking for a damn good look round or you have some genuine gardening /animal purchases this is the place to be in Chesterfield

Brilliant service and care for reptiles up until you have made the purchase. I have spent a lot of money here over this year purchasing multiple reptiles, but the service I was given trying to receive a refund for a product which was sold to me in error was dreadful. They will try and find any excuse to get out of giving you a refund rather than credit, even if it is the store at fault. I will not be returning after this dreadful experience, involving 4 phone calls and trying to justify myself in the middle of the shop floor... My advice for other shoppers would be to make sure you are getting what you really need from here, and be absolutely sure you are happy with your purchase before you hand over your money, as they would rather give blood than a refund.

Great selection of everything, fishing, fish, pet. The rods they have in are over kill for the fish they sell so you will need long room to use them but all the gear is there. The staff are very friendly and knowledgeable.

They have angling supplies and plants, as well as the exotic pets and fish they used to have. A nice coffee shop and friendly staff. Well worth a visit.

I only visit here occasionally, usually to pick live food up for my Mum's bearded dragon. This place is now huge. I much preferred it before when it was laid out better. The aisles are quite tight in places and I struggled around times when I took my Nan in her wheelchair. Pros : Great place to bring kids to visit as they are well stocked with animals. Cons : The aisles are narrow in places making it difficult for some wheelchair users. The car park could do with attention. There's a lot of pot holes around the entrance to the car park.
