This place was recommended to us...wish we had never bothered. Fine dining it is NOT but they charge fine dining prices. If you like eating off pine tables and crammed in like sardines then this is the place for you. Two steaks, bottle of house wine....£73. Will NEVER be back.

Food here is excellent locally sourced and seasonal . My favourite place to eat would get the ferry across just to go here .

11.80 for a guinness n glass of house rose that my partner said was the worst she's had. The guy on the bar was busy doing both bars, was welcoming for a second when he thought we were eating there but when he asked if we were and I replied " not tonight we're just having a drink waiting for a table at fiddlers round the corner", any friendliness ended. He chatted to locals while a non local was clearly waiting a while to be served, then begrudgingly served him. My partner who saw this and the guys mate weren't impressed. Perhaps this was out of character but this was our experience. If you look at my other reviews you'll see I try to be fair. Friendly or not, I'd recommend changing your rose and knocking a £1 off. Arran is great and friendly, he was not on this occasion.

Arrived without booking but they found a table. Really glad they did as the food was great. Had to rush as the ferry company text us to catch the earlier ferry so did not have a chance to say how much we enjoyed the food and thank the girl behind the bar with the ponytail finding room for us. Ps we made the ferry.

Just had a lovely meal on the early bird menu. Gorgeous! Great choice and tasty at a good price. Will definitely visit again 😃
